MAYA Awards Africa 10 takes place in Ibadan in grand style.

The 10th edition of Maya Awards Africa, one of Nigeria’s biggest all youth awards held penultimate Saturday, November 11th, 2023 at the Mauve 21 Events and Conference Centre, Ring Road, Ibadan, Oyo State.

The packed event which had over 1,300 guests made up of top politicians, CEOs and entertainment personalities was kicked off by prolific comedian, Dr. Smile with musical performances by DELE OMO WOLI’s Flaming Brothers and VicKeYz with rib cracking jokes by young comedians General Olak, MC DEXTOP, Baffy & Taichi.

The event which didn’t end till next morning shows further the consolidation of the awards brand as one calendar event of the average youth, who craves for genuine appreciation of the excellent spirit of the African Youth.

The awards project which started in 2013 and staged its 1st edition in Ibadan in 2014 and 2nd edition in 2015 before moving to Lagos in 2015 has gone on to celebrate over 350 highflying youths across 10 countries from different sectors of the global economy.

The event was chaired by Hon. Shina Peller, Ayedero of Yorubaland, while the mother of the day was the First Lady of OSUN State, Chief Mrs. Titilola Adeleke. Top CEOs like Dr. Muibi Kehinde, Dr. Tony Kolawole, Dr. Tosin Olatujoye, Kola Amusan, Engr. Kayode Adamolekun, Mr. Deji Adeoye, Entertainment Impressarios like Aisha Lawal, Woli AGBA, Kamo Nepa Boiz, Erekere, Ozain and a host of others were also physically present.
